What is an invoice?
An invoice is the document a freelancer or service provider sends to a client to charge for work. It records who charges (From), who pays (Bill To), the line items, amounts, taxes, total and payment instructions. It’s the official record of the charge — essential to get paid and to keep your finances organized.
What every professional invoice should have
- Your details and the client’s (name/company, address, email, Tax ID).
