Web Pure Tools

Browser-based file tools

Web Pure Tools is a suite of browser-based tools — PDF, image, OCR, text, email and web. Nothing to install, and your files are never sent to a server.

What are “browser-based tools”?

They are tools that do all the processing inside the browser tab, using JavaScript and WebAssembly, instead of sending the file to a server to process. You open the page, pick the file, and the work happens on your own machine.

Why this is better

  • Privacy: the file never leaves your device for the supported local tools.
  • Speed: no waiting to upload and download large files.
  • No install: works on any system with a modern browser.
  • No sign up, no watermark and no artificial limits.

Everything you can do

  • PDF: compress, merge, split, protect, unlock, annotate and watermark.
  • Image: batch-convert to WebP.
  • Text: OCR (image to text) and compare text versions.
  • Productivity: generate an invoice and an email signature.
  • Web: check a site’s accessibility (WCAG).

The honest limits

Performance depends on your browser, memory and device — very large files may be slower on older hardware. And no tool can stop a document from being photographed or printed by someone who already has access to it. That is the fair trade-off of keeping everything on your machine.
